Swimmer Safety

For those who use wetsuits: wouldn’t a bright coloured model be safer than the dull black one? There are lime, yellow, pink, orange and fluorescent available! Check out this wetsuit website:

I think a fluorescent yellow wetsuit would have the added advantages of being easily seen by the DunLaoghaire lifeboat, and scaring the jellyfish away.

my yellow rush vest did not protect me from jellyfish.
And I am not going to be a guinea pig for your theory

what did you google to discover a site called "rubber jungle"?

1) I think neither lifeboat nor jellyfish can see a yellow vest worn UNDER a wetsuit.
2) Well, as I knew this question would come up ;-) : I googled Wetsuit Colour and it was # 4 or 5 on the list.
3) By the way, bright yellow also helps on land while travelling the roads (watch out for vanilla yellow moon buggy).
4) Anyone needs a yellow swimming hat? Have a spare one. And an norange one as well.

this post is generating a disproportionate number of comments, considering NOBODY is actually interested in non-black wetsuits!!!
