Vicovers' topic for debate?

Now that our unsolicited tourist officer is back scrubbing the Vico on a more frequent basis, the offensive odour of eau de municipal swimming pool, and the sight of birds feeding on the seaweed by the pool, forces one to reassess the extent of unnecessary bleaching undertaken beyond the vital region of steps & paths. A brief bout of browsing reveals;

"A problem with chlorine is that it reacts with organic material to form trihalomethanes like chloroform, which is a well known carcinogen."

A less carcinogenic alternative is proposed via an island de-settlement scheme, relocating some of the island inhabitants to the Vico. Covert initial tests involving a carrigeen moss force feeding program, to alter their digestive function from tasty grass to "yummy seaweed", are showing promising results, according to Vico's chief dietitian, Dr. D!
